This is a quick and simple one to make some tasty pickled onions for whatever dish tickles your pickle.
1 Medium Red Onion
100ml Red Wine Vinegar
100ml Water
1 Teaspoon Salt
1 Teaspoon Sugar
1 Teaspoon Black Pepper
1) Slice up your red onion into your desired thickness. I prefer going as thin as possible here for maximum soaky absorption.
2) Add your ingredients into an air-sealed container, and give them a good mix.
3) Seal the lid shut and pop them in the fridge for a minimum of an hour and there you have it. These will keep for weeks in the fridge. I always give it a sniff and if it's smelling alright I'm eating it. #NoWaste
